Preparation By Frank Catalanotto

For me, preparation is extremely important. Not only in baseball, but in life. Preparation was instilled in me as I was growing up; my mom always prepared and taught me how to be ready for everything. If you are prepared for what might happen, you’ll be able to handle it better. This served me well when I was playing professional baseball. How? Let me tell you. I knew I didn't have all the talent in the world, so I’d have to take advantage of every single edge…See More

Long Island's own Frank Catalanotto has written a book titled Heart & Hustle.

Heart & Hustle is a blueprint for any player who wants to improve and for parents wanting to encourage and support young athletes.  It’s for the player who has shared Frank Catalanotto’s experiences of being told that he or she isn’t good enough or has been cut from a team or left behind while teammates were moved up to higher-level teams.  The book contains inspiring and instructive…

Yes, we've been playing in ceder creek park in wantagh for the last 3 years. Looking if anyone would be interested in playing in a very competitive very fun fast pitch wiffle league. I dont know if you saw the video i left on my profile, its 8 minutes long but if you have the time check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FP6a5UPu11c . I am looking for any players that would be interested. We have 7 regions over the states MA, PA, CT, NY, CHI, GA, and Cali. The equipment we use is amazing, from inflatable out field walls to carban fiber bats, and guys can throw upwards of the low 90's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzcWRXCxOpo) so the games get pretty intense. We are just a small group looking to expand our player body here in NY, if you can help us out it would be greatly. let me know thanks
